The All-New Riverside Speedway season has been extended one more time. New lessee Dan Fournier has announced a “Fall Brawl 200” to be run on October 20th. This huge Late Model race will hand the winner a cool $5000 paycheck. After extending out numerous personal invitations to ACT drivers and surrounding tracks, over 20 drivers have committed so far, and are waiting on many others. “The All-New Riverside Speedway is going to end the year with a double bang, the Fall Brawl 200 and the Berlin City Auto Group’s Frostbite Enduro 150,” states Fournier. “Then we’re going to start 2013 with an event you won't want to miss.”
This will be an event that NO ONE will want to miss, as some of the heavy hitters in Upper New England will be on hand. One of those heavy hitters will be ACT point leader Wayne Helliwell. “We really missed the Clash of the Titans,” says Helliwell’s crew chief Bruce Bernhardt. “We have been clicking really well this year, and we have been strong at Riverside. (Quinney) Welch will be good, (Randy) Potter will be good, but we are carrying a lot of momentum into the fall”. Helliwell will be joined by Oxford 250 winner Joey Polewarczyk, 2012 North Country Ford Late Model champion Luke Shannon, and former Riverside champs Jeff Marshall, Bryan Mason, Corey Mason, and Randy Potter. When Potter was asked if he will be attending, Potter replied "You can't have a race like this at Riverside without me, I’ll be there".
Another driver looking to run with the big guns is Colebrook, New Hampshire’s youngster Brandon Lambert. “It will be an awesome experience,” claims Lambert. “Those are drivers that I have looked up too since I was a little kid. I even bought my first late model body from Wayne Helliwell. I have raced against Wayne and Quinney, and the feeling of them being beside you is awesome”.
Also on the schedule will be a 35 lap, $400 to win Street Stock “Open” event. Drivers will be able to claim which local track rules they are running, and have an all-out war for the cash. Drivers already making a commitment for this race are 2012 Riverside Street Stock champion “Stormin” Keith Normand, 2-time 2012 feature winner Jason Kenison, and “Nitro” Nick Gilcris.
With the “Fall Brawl 200”, and Berlin City Auto Group’s Frostbite Enduro 150 on November 3rd, the All-New Riverside Speedway will leave drivers and fans craving more in 2013. For more information on this race, the enduro, or about the All-New Riverside Speedway, contact Dan Fournier at 603-788-2886, or email the new lessee at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, be sure to check online soon for the All-New Riverside Speedway’s all new website. Bring your jackets and friends in October, because the “Fall Brawl 200” will provide all the entertainment you will need going into the off-season!
